Full Steam Ahead (almost)
Saturday, 13th November - Friday,19th November 2010
After possible tension on Saturday 13th, when the detached Aquarian moon is at odds with the passionate Scorpio sun, Sunday begins with a romantic, possibly dreamy overtone. As most of us are actually dreaming (or stumbling around after too much alcohol), at 2.10am GMT, the Moon conjuncts Neptune, an aspect known for its otherworldiness, and ability to tune in to other realms.
A harmonious link from the Moon to Venus enhances the dawn, making this Sunday the perfect time to have a lie-in, or love-in, followed by your favourite breakfast, and anything else that makes you feel pampered.
The Moon enters Pisces at 10.24, and stays there until Tuesday evening. Positive feelings abound, and there's an air of much-needed optimism and expansion when the Sun trines Jupiter on Monday 15th, and the Moon conjuncts Jupiter on Tuesday, 16th. If you have been feeling low, and fed-up with the generally negative news media messages, this is a time to decide 'enough is enough', to have faith that your reality, whatever it may be, is about to take a turn for the better.
The planet Jupiter is a philosophical one, and signifies that there is always a reason why things happen as they do, and that although life can seem bleak sometimes, it's usually because something more positive is about to emerge. 'It's always the darkest just before dawn'.
Mars, planet of action, and Saturn, the great teacher, make a harmonious link, also on Monday, adding a steadying influence and ability to persevere with any difficult task.
Wednesday is a fiery, possibly challenging day. Women may seem overly bossy or moody (is this you or some-one else?), or you just may feel nothing is as easy and straightforward as it could be. It is a good day for de-cluttering, so if you have some time on your hands.....
The 'full steam ahead (almost)' applies to Thursday 18th, when Jupiter and Venus start moving forwards again, after a while of languishing around (As these two planets are both partial to a good time I have an image of them in togas, lying around on elegant couches, eating grapes and drinking wine). After weeks of reviewing what is of real value in your life, now is the time when you can focus on those things which make you content, and move towards having more of them in your life. It could be more friendship, love, activities that make you smile or grow, money, relaxation, creativity. You choose.
The 'almost' applies to the hesitation that might be felt due to the Sun squaring Neptune on Thursday too. This is an aspect of uncertainty and confusion, possibly due to the unclear messages coming from some-one else. It is a day to be aware that some-one may not be all that they seem, so tread carefully if this is some-one new in your life, until you have any facts you may need.
By Friday, Uranus takes precedence over Neptune, making a harmonious link to the Scorpio sun, symbolizing a good time to make changes, and try something new, especially if today is your birthday. Although you may feel some uncertainty when trying something different, it is the time to move forward. It is OK to feel apprehensive, but don't allow that to prevent you from having a go.
A slower feel permeates Friday, as the Moon enters earthy Taurus (10.04 GMT) in preparation for the Full Moon on the 21st. More on this next week.
