Dreams coming true
Forecast for 29th August - 5th September 2010

It's been a while since I wrote a column, and all kinds of tensions of the planetary kind have been happening. Like a dramatic thunderstorm, lightning has struck, and unsettled many of us in unpredictable ways. Thunder has disturbed the peace.
Change has been at the forefront of many of our minds, but it's been a desire for change combined with a desire to hang on to parts of the past, and it's only now we are moving into calmer weather that we can clarify how we can incorporate the most positive parts of the past into our lives so we can create a future full of hope and new beginnings.
This has been connected to a challenging pattern between Jupiter and Uranus, opposing Saturn, and both ends being squared off and on by Pluto. Like a cobweb caught in an autumnal breeze, strands that were connected are now coming apart, and slowly new patterns can now be created. There are still vestiges left: February and March 2011 will see Jupiter squaring Pluto and opposite Saturn once more, but I feel it's the dying breath of this combination, rather than it's mighty roar.
As far as this week is concerned, Mercury retrograde is skateboarding back to hold hands with the Sun on Friday, 3, an apt combination for the beginning of the school term. Mercury is the planet of communication, and new ideas are often forthcoming when it meets up with the Sun. Even though Mercury retrograde (appearing to go backwards) can symbolize glitches when it comes to communication, contracts and travel, it's also a good time to review, sort out, and generally put things in order. There may be some disruption and changes of mind while this is happening, but it's all to the good in the end.
Venus and Mars are moving together through Libra at the moment. There was a conjunction between these two on Friday, 20th August, and there'll be another one on 3rd October. The interesting thing to note is this pair haven't been aspecting any other planets, just making a transitory contact with the Moon every now and then. So, although this pair is connected to relationships, creativity, and anything combining the male/female aspect of things, it hasn't been anchored to anything, until now, that is. Now Venus is approaching Neptune, and any thoughts of love, or embryonic creative projects, and also new approaches to making money, can now blossom and move to the next level. Dreams can come true under this aspect.
It's time to put the umbrella away, and don the rose-coloured specs, at least for a few weeks. See the world from a positive view-point, and hopefully it will be reflected back to you.
