The Centaur's Month and Venus Time!
Saturday 21st - Friday 27th November 2009
The Sun moves into the sign of Sagittarius the Centaur on Sunday 22nd, beaming the spotlight on to those born at this time. The solar energy shifts from passionate and deep Scorpio to jovial and fiery Sagittarius. This sign loves to explore, and seems to fall into two main types: those that love to run around football/rugby pitches or something similar, and those that like nothing better than to have their head immersed in a book. Basically they like to see what's over the next horizon, whether it's a physical one as in travel, or mentally as in ideas and/or beliefs. What is anathema to them is to feel confined, hemmed in, or stuck.
They usually approach life optimistically, often philosophically, and have a great sense of humour. Even when life is tough, they can see something positive will come out of it eventually, because they often have a core set of beliefs that sees them through.
Venus in Scorpio is the most active planetary player this week, so it's a good time to tune into such things as love, art, beauty and money – it's interesting that love and money come under the same planet. There's an air of over-indulgence as Venus approaches the square to Jupiter on Monday, 23rd November. It could be that you've promised to buy the kids/partner/relatives something you know you can't afford, so this aspect is suggesting you reconsider and maybe hold on to your purse strings.
The season of over-eating and drinking is upon us, and again, this is a good time to decide how far you want to go. The Venus/Jupiter combination is usually a benevolent one – its just sometimes excess seems to take over. It often seems to involve chocolate!
If you've taken stock and made good choices (for you) then you can take full advantage of the Venus trine Uranus aspect on Thursday, 26th November. New approaches to beauty and love are in the air, if you are open to them. Friendships can be formed with people who may be different from your usual choice.
The Venus/Uranus aspect is closely followed a square, on the the 27th, from Venus to Neptune, advising a word of caution when love and/or money are involved. Someone may not be as they first seem, money-making schemes may not be straightforward. Reading the small print on any financial documents is advised, also checking out someone's background if you are about to become involved with them.
To help you manoeuvre your way through these varied Venusian aspects, the Sun sextiles Saturn on the 24th, and Mercury trines Mars on Thursday 26th, providing a nuance of practicality to any proceedings, groundedness, coupled with feisty but honest communication opportunities, so clarity can be found.
