Happy Summer Solstice and New Moon in Cancer
Posted on 22 Jun 2009 at 07:06.
Wishing you all a slightly belated Happy Summer Solstice, and New Moon in Cancer. It's been a busy weekend, with the Summer Solstice on the 21st, followed swiftly on the 22nd June by a New Moon in early Cancer. Pluto opposes this New Moon, heralding transformation, especially connected to sorting out priorities connected to that elusive home/work balance. I'm working on this one myself.

change of plans
Posted on 18 Apr 2009 at 04:04.
Venus is now direct, after nearly 6 weeks of 'appearing' to go backwards. Hooray! Along with the change of direction a new opportunity has arisen for me. It means I'll need to put the column, and astrological work on hold for the time being, as there simply won't be the time to do this too.

Spring Greetings! Astrological readings for you. Also, details of a monthly column
Posted on 13 Apr 2009 at 10:04.

An astrological map (aka birth-chart) can give a wonderful insight into YOU as an individual. Based on the planetary positions for your date, time and place of birth, it is a unique blueprint of your potential, showing your strengths and challenges, how you relate to others, what kind of pathway you would enjoy to walk in this lifetime.
Consultations/interpretations can take various forms:
Astrological birth map. A written report by me, accompanied by a hand-drawn birth-chart, sent snail mail, is £90. This can be paid in 3 instalments of £30 if preferred.
A personal consultation here in north-east Somerset. Fees are £40 an hour, and can focus on any matter, using the birth-chart and transits as a starting point.
Transits for around a year ahead. These indicate how the planetary cycles now are affecting your birth-chart, and how to make the best of what's around at the moment.
£70 (2 instalments of £35 if preferred) for a written report, £40 per hour (as above) for a personal consultation.
If you are a student, and are interested in having your chart interpreted, please contact me for a special student rate.

The Column. April 2009 is now up on the mis-named 'weekly column' page. I'm hoping I have a new web-master soon. Please bear with me. Thank-you! Please contact: sueewalker@tiscali.co.uk to book a reading.

Apologies for absence here
Posted on 02 Feb 2009 at 02:02.

Apologies for lack of blogs, columns, etc. Illness and erratic computer connections have kept me away. Hope to be back here soon! The current opposition between Saturn and Uranus, is exact for the second time this Thursday, 5th February, so hold on to your hats, smile, and ride it out. The first opposition in this current 'dance' was on November 4th 2008, and the next one is 15th September 2009. Saturn, is the planet of the traditional, Uranus, the planet of innovation. There's an almighty tussle going on between the old and the new, and also dealing with challenges from an analytical point of view (Saturn in Virgo), or reaching for the unknown, the unpredictable in a heart-based, six-sensory way (Uranus in Pisces). Somehow the best qualities of these two need to come together so that a third, sensible and fair, loving, kind and inclusive way of being becomes something to aim for (rather than accumulating 'stuff', and being divisive and competitive).
Pluto in Capricorn has already made its mark by turning upside-down our views of respectable institutions, such as banks, etc. and also bringing in a new political hope in the form of Barack Obama. There's much more to come I feel.
This year is a time of change, and potentially a really positive one. Stay true to yourself and recognize that each one of us can make a difference.
